Woodland Hills, CA — Illumitoon Entertainment and Westlake Entertainment are proud to release their second collaborative Anime DVD: BOBOBO-BO BO-BOBO VOLUME 1: BO-NAFIDE PROTECTOR on February 13, 2007. The animated series which features “he of the golden afro” Bobobo-bo, along with his sidekicks Beauty and Captain Don Patch, originally aired in the U.S. on Cartoon Network’s Toonami Block. Cartoon Network also recently announced that the network will air the second season of BOBOBO-BO BO-BOBO in the same time block beginning early February 2007. Joint Venture Enterprise Acquires Distribution Rights for Popular Cartoon Network Series

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Illumitoon Entertainment and Westlake Entertainment announced today that they have joined in acquiring North American distribution rights for a series from Toei Animation titled “BOBOBO-BO BO-BOBO”. Illumitoon and Westlake are rolling out with the first 50 episodes of the series currently broadcast on Cartoon Network’s Toonami Block. Westlake, recently purchased by Larry Cohen and Luke Stefanko, has been repositioning itself into more original content, specifically in the anime and features areas. Together with Illumitoon Entertainment, whose stated mission is to “focus on acquiring accessible anime for the US market,” the team expects big results.

Illumitoon Acquires AM Driver

51-Episode Series Marks Second Acquisition for New Company

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Illumitoon Entertainment, Ltd. announced that it has licensed GET RIDE! AM DRIVER for release in the US. The series is an action-adventure drama that focuses on the exploits of a young group of warriors, known as AM Drivers, as they battle a dominating empire of machines. The series was developed by ADK, and is backed by Japanese toy company Konami.

“We’re thrilled to add this very exciting series to our US launch,” says Barry Watson, the CEO/President of Illumitoon. “It combines ultramodern, futuristic technology with engaging excitement.” The series was produced in 2004 in Japan and features 51 half-hour episodes. US release of the series is anticipated for early 2007.
